Optical Read-head
Units
The TML-IR1000 provides the data interface
between the meter optical port and a portable
data terminal allowing manual reading and
programming of the meter. The unit consists
of an infrared optical head, inline power
module and RS232 cable.
The optical head is magnetically secured to
the meters optical port. The inline power
module boosts the communications signal between
the optical head and RS232 serial port of
a portable data terminal or laptop computer.
